About Aaj ka Rate
Aaj ka Rate puts the rates Pakistanis check every day in one quiet place: gold and silver by city, the dollar, riyal, dirham, pound and euro (open market and interbank), petrol, diesel and LPG, and the official weekly kitchen-item rates.
Rate sites are usually slow, full of ads, and vague about where a number came from or how old it is. Every number here carries its source and the time it was published, and the pages are small enough to open instantly on a 3G phone.
We do not sell gold or currency, we give no investment advice, and we never take money to change a rate or rank a shop.
Aaj ka Rate is made by DanixSoft in Pakistan.

How we verify rates
- Sources: gold from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association’s daily rate; currencies from ECAP (open market) and the State Bank of Pakistan (interbank); petrol, diesel and LPG from OGRA and Petroleum Division notifications; kitchen items from the PBS Sensitive Price Indicator.
- How often: gold and currencies every business day, fuel on each change, LPG monthly, SPI weekly. Each number is entered after its publisher releases it and is shown with its source and the time it was published.
- Checks: each entry is compared with the previous value (and, for gold, the international parity estimate); a move outside the normal band needs a second confirmation. If today’s rate is not out yet, the page says so and shows the last rate with its date.
- Corrections: email hello@danixsoft.com. Corrections are kept and shown next to the number.
What Aaj ka Rate is not
It is not an official website and is not affiliated with SBP, OGRA, PBS, ECAP or the Sarafa association. Rates are indicative; jewellers and exchange companies may charge different prices. The site is free, and reading rates needs no account.
