Aaj ka Rate parity estimate

- How often
- With each spot update
How we keep numbers right
- Two signals: each entry is compared with the previous value and, for gold, the international parity estimate. A move outside the normal band needs a second confirmation before it is published.
- Stale guard: if today’s rate is not published by 7 PM on a business day, the page says so plainly and shows the last rate with its date. We never pass off yesterday’s number as today’s.
- Corrections are kept and shown next to the number (“corrected 12:05 PM”).
- Every month we compare ten random days against two news archives.
The international parity estimate
World spot price (US dollars per troy ounce) × the dollar rate (SBP interbank, or the mid-market rate when SBP has not published) × (11.6638 g per tola ÷ 31.1035 g per troy ounce). It is not a market rate and no shop sells at it; it is shown with a dashed outline and the word “estimate” so you can see how far the Sarafa rate sits from world prices.
