Questions
When does the petrol price change?
Since July 2026 OGRA is reported to set petrol and diesel prices daily, from a seven-day moving average, instead of the government’s fortnightly review. Prices can therefore change on any day; we show every new price with the date it took effect.
Where does this price come from?
From the official price notification (Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Division, and OGRA). Prices at a pump can differ slightly by area because of freight.
Is diesel the same price as petrol?
No. High-speed diesel (HSD) is priced separately and is shown in the table with kerosene and light diesel oil.
