Which rate will I actually get?
Banks and transfer apps quote their own rate and fee, usually close to the interbank rate for bank transfers. The open-market rate is for cash at exchange companies. Use these reference rates to judge a quote: compare the rupees the recipient gets, not the rate alone.
Do you compare transfer providers?
Not yet. A comparison of published provider quotes (curated by hand each week) is planned. Until then we show only reference rates from ECAP, SBP and the international mid-market.
